I v — S % UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS AN ORDINANCE TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS OF ANNA, TEXAS; ADOPTING THE UNIFORM CODE FOR THE ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS; PROVIDING FOR APPEALS TO THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; ESTABLISHING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE'DATE. it is deemed by the City Council of the City of Anna set of regulations and standards whereby buildings or res which from any cause endanger the life, limb, health, property, safety or welfare of the general public or upants of the buildings or structures may be required to ired, vacated or demolished as is necessary to protect the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the city; refore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT 1: ABATEMENT OF DANGEROUS BUILDINGS CODE ADOPTED There is hereby adopted by the City of Anna, Texas, for the pur- pose of prescribing regulations governing conditions whereby buildings or structures which from any cause endanger the life, limb, ihealth, morals, property, safety or welfare of the general public of the occupants of the buildings or structures may be required to be repaired, vacated or demolished, the 1985 Edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, save and except such portions as hereafter deleted, modified, or amended, including all appendices thereto. One (1) copy of said code is on file in the office of the city secretary, which shall be subject to inspection at all times during regular business hours.
