ORDINANCE NO. 9 7 - 0'
AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY
FROM THE CITY OF ANNA, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND REVISING THE
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO EXCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the City of Anna at the time of annexation of the following described tract of land
believed that the City was providing water services to the tract; and
WHEREAS, it is now known that the City of Anna does not provide water and/or sanitary sewer
services to the following described tract of land which has been annexed to the City of Anna; and
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA THAT
Section l.. The land and territory described in Exhibit A of this ordinance and described as Tract
2 in Ordinance No. 96 -// is hereby disannexed from the City of Anna, Texas, and said
territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be excluded from within the boundary limits of the
City of Anna, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city are hereby altered and
amended so as to exclude said area from within the corporate limits of the City of Anna, Texas.
Section 2. Any and all services extended to the area by the City of Anna as a result of the area
being within the corporate limits of the City are hereby discontinued.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Collin County, Texas, a
certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by the following vote of all members of the City Council as present on this the
10TH day of .TUNE ,1997.

All that certain area situated in the Guyne Morrison Survey, Abstract No. 559, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the north city limits line of the City of Anna, said point being in the
north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862, said point also being the southwest corner of a
2.00 acre tract granted to Joe and Mattie Duer and recorded in. Volume 754, Page 549, Collin
County Deed Records;
THENCE north along the east line of said Duer 2.00 acre tract to a point in the northwest comer
of said tract;
THENCE east along the north line of said Duar tract to a point in the northwest comer of said
tract, also being an inside northwest corner of a 12.42 acre tract coveyed to Joe and Mattie Duer
in Volume 754, Page 551, Collin County Deed Records, continuing east on the same course to a
point in the east line of said 12.42 acre Duer tract;
THENCE south along the east line of said Duer tract to a point in the southeast comer of said
Duer 12.42 acre tract, said point also being in the north right-of-way of FM Highway 2862;
THENCE east along the south line of said Duer 12.42 acre tract, also being the north right-of-
way line of FM Highway 2862, continuing east along the south line of said 2.00 acre Duer tract
to the place of beginning.
