ORDINANCE NO. 97- 17
AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY
FROM THE CITY OF ANNA, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND REVISING THE
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO EXCLUDE SAID DESCRIBED
PROPERTY FROM THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the City of Anna has sanitary sewer collection facilities crossing and/or
immediately adjacent to the following described tracts of land, making sanitary sewer
service readily available to the tracts of land; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna at the time of annexation of the following described tracts
of land believed that the City could legally annex land to which sanitary sewer services
were readily available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna now understands that no improvements are currently
located on the following described tracts of land and no sewer service is being actually
provided to the property; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA
Section 1.
The land and territory described below is hereby disannexed from the City of Anna,
Texas, and said territory shall hereafter be excluded from within the boundary limits of
the City of Anna, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city are hereby altered
and amended so as to exclude said area from within the corporate limits of the City of
Anna, Texas.
Tract 1. A 1.726 acre tract in the R. C. Ingraham Survey, A-464,
in Volume 2311, Page, 253, Collin County Deed Records
Tract 2. A 2.209 acre tract in the R. C. Ingraham Survey, A-464,
in Volume 2311, Page 253, Collin County Deed Records
Tract 3. A 2.064 acre tract in the R. C. Ingraham Survey, A-464,
in Volume 2311, Page, 253, Collin County Deed Records
Tract 4. A 2.704 acre tract in the R. C. Ingraham Survey, A-464,
in Volume 2311, Page 253, Collin County Deed Records

Section 2.
• Any and all services extended to the area by the City of Anna as a result of the area
being with the corporate limits of the City are hereby discontinued.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of Collin County, Texas, a
certified copy of this ordinance. The City Clerk is also hereby directed to file with the
Collin County Appraisal District a certified copy of this ordinance.
PASSED by the following vote of the City Council as present on this the 22ND day of
JULY ,1997.
