AN ORDINANCE DISANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY FROM THE
CITY OF ANNA, COLLIN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND REVISING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF
SAID CITY SO AS TO EXCLUDE SAID DESCRIBED PROPERTY FROM THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the property of certain property owners within the City of Anna have been recently
annexed; and
WHEREAS, these property owners have not requested disannexation as allowed by the laws of
the State of Texas; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS
SECTION 1.
The land and territory described below is hereby disannexed from the City of Anna, Texas, and
said territory shall hereafter be excluded from within the boundary limits of the City of Anna,
Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city are hereby altered and amended so as to
exclude said area from within the corporate limits of the City of Anna, Texas.
• Tract
All that certain area situated in the John C. Farris Survey, Abstract No. 330, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862, said point also being
the southeast comer of a 5.00 tract conveyed to William',J. Stiltz and recorded in Volume 1671,
Page 647, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE north along the east line of said 5.00 Stiltz tract to a point in the northeast comer of
said Stiltz tract;
THENCE west along the north line of said 5.00 acre Stiltz tract to a point in the northwest comer
of said Stiltz tract;
THENCE south along the west line of said 5.00 acre Stiltz tract to a point being the southwest
comer of said Stiltz tract, also being a point in the north right-of-way of FM Highway 2862;
THENCE east along the north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862, to the place of beginning.
Tract 2
All that certain area situated in the Guyne Morrison Survey, Abstract No. 559, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point In the north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862, said point also being
the most southerly southwest comer of a 19.204 acre tract conveyed to Martha D. Miller and
recorded in Volume 1229, Page 712, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE north along the most westerly west line of said Miller tract to a point in the most
southerly northwest comer of said tract, also being a point in the southwest comer of a 0.6880
acre tract conveyed to Thomas L. Beazley and recorded in Volume 1733, Page 301, Collin

County Deed Records continuing north along the west line of said Beazley tract to a point in the
northwest comer of said tract;
THENCE east along the north line of said Beazley tract to a point in the northeast comer of said
tract, said point also being in the west line of said Martha D. Miller tract, said point also being in
the west line of said Miller tract; continuing east on the same course to a point in the east line of
said Miller tract, said point also being in the west line of a 3.9430 acre tract conveyed to James
H. Randles and recorded in Volume 1622, Page 485, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE north along the west line of said Randles tract to a point in the northwest corner of
said tract;
THENCE east along the north line of said Randles tract to a point in the northeast comer of said
tract;
THENCE south along the east line of said Randles tract to a point 600 feet north of the
southeast comer of said tract, said point also being in the west line of a 17.5 acre tract
conveyed to David B. and Holly H. Lambert. Book 96, Page 0019629, Collin County Deed
Records;
THENCE east along a line parallel to and 600 feet north of the north right-of-way line of FM
Highway 2862 to a point in the east line of said 17.5 acre Lambert tract,
THENCE south along the east line of said 17.5 acre Lambert tract to a point in the southeast
comer of said tract, also being a point in the north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862;
THENCE west along the north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862 to the place of beginning.
Tract 3
All that certain area situated in the Guyne Morrison Survey, Abstract No. 559, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the west right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862, said point also being a
point in the southeast comer of a 1.00 acre tract conveyed to Zeb and Rochelle F. Genn and
recorded in Book 95, Page 0092854, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE west along the south line of said 1.00 acre Genn tract to a point in the southwest
comer of said tract;
THENCE north along the west line of said 1.00 acre Genn tract to a point in the northwest
comer of said 1.00 acre Genn tract, also being a point in the southwest comer of a 5.00 acre
tract conveyed to Zeb and Rochelle F. Genn and recorded in Book 95, Page 0092854, Collin
County Deed Records, continuing north along the west line of said 5.00 acre Genn tract to a
point in the northwest comer of said 5.00 acre Genn tract;
THENCE east along the north line of said 5.00 acre Genn tract to a point in the northeast comer
of said tract, also being a point in the west right-of-way of FM Highway 2862;
THENCE south and west along the west and north right-of-way line of FM Highway 2862 to the
place of beginning.

All that certain area situated in the Guyne Morrison Survey, Abstract No. 559, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the south right-of-way of FM Highway 2862, also being a point in the
northeast comer of a 10.275 acre tract conveyed to Dorothy J. Oldham and recorded in Volume
1202, Page 374, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE south along the east line of said 10.275 acre Oldham tract a distance of 750 feet to a
point;
THENCE west along a line 750 feet from and parallel to the south right-of-way line of FM
. Highway 2882 to a point in the west line of said 10.275 acre Oldham tract, also being a point in

northwest comer of said 10.275 acre tract said point also being a point in the south right-of-way

All that certain area situated in the Grandison Stark Survey, Abstract No. 798, Collin County,
Texas, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the east right-of-way of State Highway 5, also being the northwest
comer of a 4.954 acre tract .conveyed to Jack Scribner and described in Volume 656, Page 399
and Volume 2606, Page 453, Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE east along the north fine of said 4.954 acre Scribner tract to a point in the northeast
comer of said 4.954 acre Scribner tract, also being a point in the northwest comer of a 0.27 acre
tract conveyed to Jack Scribner and described in Volume 656, Page 399 and Volume 2606,
Page 453, Collin County Deed Records; continuing east along the north line of said 0.27 acre
Scribner tract to a point in the northeast comer of said tract;
THENCE south along the east line of said 0.27 acre Scribner tract to a point, said point also
being a southwest comer of the existing corporate limits, said point also being in the west line of
a 0.4550 acre tract conveyed to Tommy Cunningham and recorded in Volume 802, Page 604,
Collin County Deed Records;
THENCE east along the existing south corporate limits line to a point in the east line of said

Beginning at a point in the northeast corner of a 4.448 acre tract conveyed to Shelvy L. Dawes
and recorded in Volume 961, Page 124, Collin County Deed Records;

certified copy of this ordinance. The City Clerk is also hereby directed to file with the Collin
County Appraisal District a certified copy of this ordinance.
