AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES FOR ZONING AND REZONING PETITIONS,
SPECIFIC USE PERMIT PETITIONS, AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
APPEALS; AND ESTABLISHING COSTS FOR COPIES OF CERTAIN
CITY DOCUMENTS AND MATERIALS; PROVIDING A PENALTY
CLAUSE; AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
The following fees and charges are adopted by the City Council of the City of Anna,
Texas.
SECTION 1: ZONING FEES
A. Zoning Application Fees
Zoning application or rezoning fees shall be $150.00 plus $25.00 per type of zoning
requested on a tract of land, to be paid at the time such application is submitted to
the City Secretary.
B. Specific Use Permit Fees
Specific use permit application fees shall be $150.00 per request, to be paid at the
time such application is submitted to the City Secretary.
C. Appeals to the Board of Adjustments
The fee for a variance request shall be $100.00 per consideration. The fee for all
other appeals to the Board of Adjustments shall be $50.00 per consideration. All
fees are to be paid at the time the appeal is filed with the City Secretary.
SECTION 2: SIGN PERMITS
A. Class 1, 2, 3, and 4 Signs
The fee for permits for Class 1, 2, 3, or 4 signs shall be $50 for each permit.
B. Class 5, 6, and 7 Signs
The fee for permits for Class 5, 6, and 7 signs shall be $150 for each permit.

SECTION 3: COPIES OF DOCUMENTS
The following charges shall be made for copies of muncipal documents
Zoning Ordinance
$15.00 per copy
Subdivision Ordinance
$15.00 per copy
Zoning Map
$5.00 per copy
Sign Ordinance
$10.00 per copy
Fee Schedule
$ 1.00 per copy
SECTION 4. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
All other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict or inconsistent with any of the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed insofar as the same are in conflict with
the provisions hereof and insofar as necessary to give this ordinance full force and
effect.
SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its passage by the City
Council and approval by the Mayor as the law in such case provides.
PASSED by the following vote of the City Council of the City of Anna on the 9th day of
January, 2001.
