ORDINANCE NO. 130-2004
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES FOR ZONING
AND REZONING PETITIONS, SPECIFIC USE PERMIT
PETITIONS, BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APPEALS AND
VARIANCE, SITE PLAN REVIEW, ZONING VERIFICATION,
ZONING COMPLIANCE INSPECTIONS, LANDSCAPE
INSPECTIONS, AND REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT OF
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; SEVERABILITY; REPEALING
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND SETTING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
The following fees and charges are adopted by the City Council of the City of Anna,
Texas.
SECTION 1: ZONING FEES
A. Zoning Application Fees
Zoning application or rezoning fees shall be $300.00 plus $10.00 per acre on a tract of land, to be
paid at the time such application is submitted to the City Secretary.
B. Zoning Application Fees — Planned Development
Zoning application or rezoning fees shall be $500.00 plus $30.00 per acre on a tract of land, to be
paid at the time such application is submitted to the City Secretary.
C. Specific Use Permit Fees
Specific use permit application fees shall be $300.00 plus $10.00 per acre, per request, to be paid at
the time such application is submitted to the City Secretary.
D. Variances and appeals to the Board of Adjustments
The fee for an appeal or variance request shall be $200.00 per consideration, to be paid at the time
the appeal or variance request is filed with the City Secretary.

E. Site Plan Review.
The fee for review of site plans shall be $250.00 for site plans covering one acre or less and shall be
$300.00 for site plans for more than one acre to be paid at the time the site plan is filed with the
City Secretary.
F. The fee for a zoning verification letter is $100.00
G. The fee for a zoning compliance inspection shall be $100.00
H. The fee for a Landscape Inspection shall be $100.00
I. The fee for submission of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment shall be $200.00 to be paid at
the time the amendment is requested and filed with the City Secretary.
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY AND CONFLICT.
If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or held unconstitutional, the same shall be severed from and shall not affect the
validity of this ordinance as a whole or any part or provision thereof other than the part so
determined to be invalid or unconstitutional. To the extent any provision of this ordinance conflicts
with other prior ordinance of the City of Anna, the terms of this ordinance shall control.
SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its passage by the City
Council and approval by the Mayor as the law in such case provides.
