ORDINANCE NO. 202-2005
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, ADOPTING
AN OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING
PERIODIC UPDATES OF SAID OFFICIAL MAP
WHEREAS, the City of Anna is required by statute to maintain an up-to-date map
of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna periodically receives requests from other federal,
state, and local agencies for copies of up-to-date maps of the City; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS
Section 1. The map attached to and made an integral part of this ordinance is
hereby adopted by the City Council as the official map of the City, showing
current city limits of the City of Anna and the current extraterritorial jurisdiction of
the City of Anna, as of the date of adoption of this ordinance.
Section 2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to update said official map
by revising the city limits line and extraterritorial jurisdiction boundary as territory
is added to and subtracted from the City through appropriate action of the City
Council.
Section 3. The City Secretary is hereby directed to send the properly certified
official map of the City of Anna to federal, state, and local agencies as required to
satisfy statutory and regulatory requirements of the United States, the State of
Texas, and Collin County.
PASSED by the following vote of all members of the City Council as present on this the
26th day of April, 2005.
