MINUTES
SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 29, 2003 7:30 PM, CITY HALL
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 29,
2003, at the Anna City Hall, 101 N. Powell Parkway, and considered the following items:
1. Call to Order.
The Mayor Fro -Tem called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
The following members were present and participating: Mayor Pro -Tern Mark
Montgomery, Councilman J. W. Finley, Jr., Councilman John Geren, Councilman Lynn
Mosier, and Councilman Lynn Dhane. The following members were absent: Mayor
Ronald R. Ferguson.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas Government Code the
City Council may enter into CLOSED SESSION or Executive Session to discuss the
following:
A. To consult with legal counsel regarding pending or contemplated litigation and/or
other legal matters. (Government Code, Chapter 551.071)
Councilman Mosier moved to go into closed session. Councilman seconded the motion.
5 Aye 0 Nay 0 Abstain Unanimous Motion Carried at 7:37 p.m.
Return to open session..
4. Consider and act upon items listed under item 4 Executive Session, as necessary.
A. Consider action to approve Letter of Intent to Resolve Existing Disputes Concerning
CCN and other Matters Between North Collin Water Supply Corporation and the Cities
of Anna, McKinney, and Melissa and authorize Mayor to sign said Letter.
The City Council returned to open session at 8:20 p.m.
Councilman Finley moved to approve the Letter of Intent. Councilman Mosier seconded
the motion.

Councilman Mosier moved to adjourn the meeting. Councilman Finley seconded the
motion.
