CITY OF ANNA
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
May 6, 2003 6:45 PM, CITY HALL
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2003,
at the Anna City Hall, 101 N. Powell Parkway, and considered the following items:
1. Call to Order.
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
The following members were present and participating: Mayor Ronald R. Ferguson,
Mayor Pro -Tem Mark Montgomery, and Councilman J. W. Finley, Jr. The following
members were absent: Councilman John Geren, Councilman Lynn Mosier, and
Councilman Lynn Dhane.
Pursuant to Texas Election Code, Section 67.004, only two officers are need for a
quorum for a canvassing meeting.
3. Official Canvass of the May 3, 2003 General Election. Officially declare the winners.

The Mayor and Councilmen looked over the returns for the election and found the
following vote totals to be correct:
For Mayor:
David W. Crim, Sr. 50 votes
Kenneth L. Pelham 108 votes
Votes for Place 1:
Lynn Mosier 114 votes
Votes for Place 5:
Lynn Dhane 56 votes
Chris Caldwell 98 votes
Mayor Pro -Tem moved to declare Kenneth L. Pelham the winner for Mayor, Lynn
Mosier the winner for Councilman Place 1 and Chris Caldwell the winner for
Councilman Place 5. Councilman Finley seconded the motion.

4. Adjourn.
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 6:52 p.m.
