HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 442-2009 IGW Management Zoning Change AG to PD.pdfCITY OF ANNA, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 442-2009 IGW Management Zoning Change Agriculture (AG) to Planned Development (PD) West white Street AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF ANNA TO PROVIDE FOR REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the owner of the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto has requested a certain zoning for said property, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna and the City Council of the City of Anna have given the requisite notices by publication and otherwise and have held the public hearings as required by law and afforded a full and fair hearing to all property owners generally and to all persons interested in and situated in the affected area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of the City of Anna has concluded that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Anna should be amended as follows: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS: Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Anna, Texas, is amended by 10 changing the zoning of the tracts described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made an integral part of this ordinance, from Agricultural District (AG) to Planned Development (PD) District known as tract one, consisting of approximately 4 acres located east of West Crossing Blvd. and north of West White Street (FM 455). ZONING REGULATIONS The zoning regulations will be the same as those permitted of the Restricted Commercial (Cl) district. The permitted uses will be those of the Restricted Commercial and the following uses: Health Club I Kennel (no outside pens) School, trade, or commercial Auto parts sales (inside) Auto repair, minor (indoor only - no outside storage or display of vehicles Car Wash Parking lot or parking garage Quick oil change facility Quick tune up facility Tire dealer (no outside storage or display) Boat sales and storage (indoor display and storage) Furniture & appliance store Garden Center (retail sales) Laboratory, scientific or research Metal dealer, crafted precious Medical Supplies, sales & service Permitted with a specific use permit Permitted with a specific use permit Permitted with a specific use permit Ord, 442-2009 1GW Management Zoning Change.doc 2 04-28=09 Plumbing Services Post office, government and private Service Retail Studio (photographer, musician, artist) Taxidermist Office — showroom/warehouse Section 2. All provisions of the City of Anna Zoning Ordinance not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall pertain to the property described herein. Section 3. The official Zoning Map of the City of Anna shall be corrected to reflect the change in zoning described herein. Section 4. All ordinances of the City of Anna in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed to the extent of that conflict. Section S. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and the publication of the caption of said ordinance as the law in such case provides.
