Home My WebLink AboutOrd 466-2009 Amend Zoning Map and Comprehensive Plan-N of West White-E of Slayter Crk, S of 4th St-W of S Powell Pkwy.pdfCITY OF ANNA, TEXAS ORDINANCE NO. 466-2009 (Generally Located North of West White Street, East of Slayter Creek, South of Fourth Street and West of South Powell Parkway) AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AMENDING THE ZONING MAP AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY OF ANNA TO PROVIDE FOR REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City has initiated a zoning change on properties described in Exhibit A attached hereto for said properties; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna and the City Council of the City of Anna have given the requisite notices by publication and otherwise and have held the public hearings as required by law and afforded a full and fair hearing to all property owners generally and to all persons interested in and situated in the affected area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of the City of Anna has concluded that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Anna should be amended as follows: NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS: Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Anna, Texas, is amended by changing the zoning of the tracts described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made an integral part of this ordinance, from General Commercial District (C2), Light Industrial (1-1) and Heavy Industrial (1-2) District to Restricted Commercial (CI) District. Section 2. The official Zoning Map of the City of Anna shall be corrected to reflect the change in zoning described herein. Section 3. All ordinances of the City of Anna in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed to the extent of that conflict. Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and the publication of the caption of said ordinance as the law in such case provides.
