Zoning Change SF1 to C-1
411 Interurban St.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP AND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE
CITY OF ANNA TO PROVIDE FOR REZONING OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the owner of the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto has
requested a certain zoning for said property; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna and the City
Council of the City of Anna have given the requisite notices by publication and otherwise
and have held the public hearings as required by law and afforded a full and fair hearing
to all property owners generally and to all persons interested in and situated in the
affected area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of the City of Anna has
concluded that the Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Anna
should be amended as follows:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNSEL OF THE
CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan of the
City of Anna, Texas, is amended by changing the zoning of the tract described in Exhibit
A, attached hereto and made an integral part of this ordinance, from Single Family
Residential (SF I) to Restricted Commercial District (C-1).
Section 2. The official Zoning Map of the City of Anna shall be corrected to reflect
the change in zoning described herein.
Section 3. All ordinances of the City of Anna in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are repealed to the extent of that conflict.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage
and the publication of the caption of said ordinance as the law in such case provides.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, this 22nd day of
September, 2009.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
SITUATED in the Henry Brantley Survey, Abstract No. 71 in the City of Anna, Collin
County, Texas, and being part of the tract of land described in Deed recorded in Volume
1019, Page 650 of the Collin county Deed Records and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds to -wit;
BEGINNING at an iron pin found, being the Southeast comer of said tract;
THENCE West with the South line of said tract 145 feet to an iron pin found;
THENCE North 0 deg. 30 min. East 87 feet to a point in the North line of said tract;
THENCE East with said North line 145 feet to an iron pin found;
THENCE South 0 deg. 30 min. West with the West line of Interurban Street 87 feet to the
place of beginning, containing 12, 615 square feet of land, more or less.
