PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna will hold its regular meeting on
Tuesday, January7, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. at the Anna City Hall, located at 101 N. Powell Parkway,
Anna, Texas, to consider the following items.
1. Call to order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Citizen comments and other presentations.
4. Consider approval of Minutes of meeting of December 3, 2002.
5. Consider approval of Minutes of meeting of December 9, 2002.
6. Consider recommendation regarding the submission of an application to the Texas
Parks & Wildlife Department for financial assistance to develop/construct park,
recreation, and open space facilities.
7. Consider recommendation regarding annexation of Tompkins 25 Acre Tract, J. C. Farris
Survey, Abstract No. 331, Collin County Texas, located on the north side of W. White
Street, approximately 2,500 feet west of Slater Creek. . (Mr. Tommy Tompkins)
8. Consider recommendation regarding zoning of Tompkins 25 Acre Tract, J. C. Farris
Survey, Abstract No. 331, Collin County Texas, located on the north side of W. White

10. Consider recommendation regarding final plat for Creekside Addition, Phase 2. (Mr.

11. Consider recommendation regarding zoning request for 310 acre tract located in G.
Moore Survey, Abstract No. 559, H. Brantley Survey, Abstract No. 71, and J. C. Farris
Survey, Abstract No. 331, owners being George F. West and A. L. Geer, located north of
W. White Street on the west side of Slater Creek.
12. Consider recommendation regarding replat and landscape plan for Block A, Westfield

13. Discuss annexation and zoning request for 39.9944 acre tract in the Grandison Stark
Survey, Abstract No. 798, owners being Clyde R. Askew and Dorothy Askew, located at
the northeast corner of the intersection of S. Powell Parkway (State Highway 5) and
County Road 421.
14. Discuss preliminary plat for 2.46 acres in Tompkins 57 acre tract. (Mr. Hubert Hughes

15. Discuss landscape plan for 2.46 acres in Tompkins 57 acre tract. (Mr. Hubert Hughes

16. Discuss and take action as desired regarding Landscape Ordinance.
17. Discuss and take action as desired regarding Architectural Standards.
18. Discuss and take action as desired regarding Subdivision Ordinance.
19. Update on current projects.
20. Discussion of other issues as desired by members of PZC.
21. Adjourn.
