PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
February 20, 2007
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna held a special meeting on Tuesday,
February 20, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., at the Community Room of the Texas Star Bank located at
402 W. White Street (FM 455), Anna, Texas, to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Chairman John Rattan called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were
John Rattan, David Culler, Joseph Bode, J. W. Finley and Nancy Pennington.
Commissioner Jon Hendricks, William Ballantyne and Councilman Keith Green as the
City Liaison were absent.
2. Public Hearing
To consider public comment on a request by Mrs. Lola M. Mosier to change
zoning on tract of land in the Henry Brantley Survey, A0071, from Single Family
Residential (SF4) to Planned Development (PD) zoning. Property is located at 303
N. Powell Pkwy (Hwy 5).
Public Hearing was opened at 7:00 p.m. Public Hearing was dosed at 7:01 p.m.
3. Action
ConsiderfActlDiscuss on recommendation regarding request by Mrs. Lola W
Mosier to change zoning on tract of land in the Henry Brantley Survey, A0071,
from Single Family Residential (SF -1) to Planned Development (PD) zoning.
Properly Is located at 303 N. Powell Pkwy (Hwy 5).
Motion was made by Joseph Bode to recommend to Council approval of zoning request.
Mr. Finley seconded the motion, which passed by the following vote:
5 aye 0 nay 0 abstained
4. Public Hearing
To consider public comment on a request by the City of Anna to change zoning on
tracts six and eighty-seven of the Henry Brantley Survey, A0071 located at 101
and 111 N. Powell Pkwy (Hwy 5). Tract six Is currently zoned as Restricted
Commercial (C4) and tract eighty-seven Is currently zoned as Restricted
Commercial (C4) on east half of tract and Single Family Residential (SF4) on
west half of tract City requests a zoning of Planned Development (PD) for both
tracts.
Public Hearing was opened at 7:03 p.m. Public Hearing was closed at 7:04 p.m.

5. Action
ConsideriDiscuesfAct on recommendation regarding request by the City of Anne
to change zoning on tracts she and eighty-seven of the Henry Brantley Survey,
A0071 to Planned Development (PD) zoning.
Motion was made by Mr. Finley to recommend to council approval of zoning request.
Mr. Cuilar seconded the motion, which passed by the following vote:
5 aye 0 nay 0 abstained
6. Citizen comments and other presentations.
There were no citizen comments or other presentations.
7. Adjourn
There being no further business, a motion was made by Mr. Soda, seconded by Mr.
Culiar, to adjourn meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
