SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
August 22, 2005 7:00 PM
Community Room, Texas Star Bank
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 7:00 pm., Monday,
August 22, 2005, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White
Street (FM 455), to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
2. Roo Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham and Council Members Lynn Mosier, J. W. Finley,
Mark Montgomery and John Geren were present. Council Member Bobby
Shiner was absent.
S. Workshop:
Discussion/briefing regarding 2005-06 budget for City of Anna
City Manager, Lee Lawrence handed out draft budgets for the water and sewer
tund and the general fund and discussion followed.
Break at 7:32 p.m. — Council Member Mark Montgomery left.
Reconvene at 8:16 p.m. and Recess 6116:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2005.
Return from recess at 6:22 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2005.
Return to discussion on the budget for 2005-06 focusing on the Volunteer Fire
Department request for 3 paid positions.
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Montgomery made the motion to adjourn at 7:11 p.m.
Seconded by Council Member Finley.
