PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
March 18,2008
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna held a special meeting on Tuesday,
March 18, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., at the Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration
Building located at 101 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Vice Chairman, Joseph Finley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present
were Joseph Finley, Darren Driskell, Jeff Caponera, Mike Green, Nancy Pennington and
William Ballantyne.
Chairman Jon Hendricks and Keith Green, City Council Liaison was absent.
2. Consider/Discuss/Act on development plat for the "Hughes Addition", property
owners, Gary and Karen Hughes.
Maurice Schwanke, Director of Planning and Development, gave a brief review regarding
the development plat.
Mr. John Sharker, representative for the Hughes, was present, but did not give a
presentation.
A motion was made by Mr. Driskell to recommend to council approval of development plat.
Mr. Green seconded the motion, which passed by the following vote:
6 aye 0 nay 0 abstained
3. Consider action to approve Minutes of the following meetings:
• February 5, 2008 (Regular Meeting)
• February 25, 2008 (Special Meeting)
A motion was made by Jeff Caponera to approve the Minutes of the above meetings. Mr.
Driskell seconded the motion, which passed by the following vote:
6 aye 0 nay 0 abstained
4. Citizen comments and/or other presentations.
There were no citizen comments or other presentations.
5. Adjourn
There being no further business, a motion was made by Mrs. Pennington, seconded by Mr.
Ballantyne, to adjourn meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
