BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JUNE 1, 2004
EXPLANATORY NOTES
3. Consider request by Ms. H. Jones for variance from the 50 foot front building line
provision in the plat of Wildwood Farms for property located at 1805 Wildwood
Trail (Block 2, Lot 20, Wildwood Farms).
The existing residential unit on Lot 20 is partially located within the 50 feet front building
line. The owner requests that a variance be granted to accommodate the location of the
existing unit by reducing the 50 feet building setback line to 35 feet. The adjacent lots
Lot 19 and Lot 21) have improvements (homes) that do not satisfy the 50 feet setback
requirement.
4. Consider request by Ms. Phyllis Armstrong for variance from the side yard line
requirement in the City of Anna Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for Block 10,
Lots 8 & 9, Anna Original Donation.
A residential dwelling unit was located across the west property line of Lot 8
many years ago. The property owner has purchased both Lot 8 and Lot 9 and
wants to replat to eliminate the intrusion. To accomplish this, the BOA will have
to grant a variance on Lot 8 to allow zero side yard setback along the west lot
line and grant a variance on Lot 9 of a 5 foot side yard setback along the east lot
line.
