PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
Regular Meeting
November 3,2008
The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Anna held its regular meeting on Monday,
November 3,2008,at 7:00 p.m.,at the Community Rool}1 of the Anna City Hall Administration
Building located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5),to consider the following items.
1.Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Chairman Pennington called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.Members present were
Nancy Pennington,David Woods,Marc Hendricks,Mike Green,J.W.Finley,Jr.,Bently
Powell,and Keith Green as the City Council Liaison.Commissioner William Ballantyne was
absent.
2.Consider action to approve Minutes of the October 7,2008 meeting.
A motion was made by David Wood,seconded by J.W.Finley,Jr.to table the Minutes of
the October meeting until the next meeting.
Ayes 6 Nays 0 Abstain 0
3.Citizen comments and/or other presentations.
Mr.Schwanke informed the Comrpission that if approved at the next Council meeting,there
will be an amendment to the Code of Ordinance added that states the Planning and Zoning
Commission will not have to meet every month,if there is no agenda.1/,
Mr.Finley suggested that we have an ordinance concerning properties with larger areas
having more flexible in regard to screening requirements.
4.Adjourn
There being no further business,a motion was made by David Woods,seconded by Marc
Green to adjourn the meeting.The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
