SPECIAL. CITY COUNCIL MEETING
September 1, 2005 7:00 PM
Community Room, Texas Star Bank
The City Council of the City of Anna mel in Special Session at 7:00 p.m., Thursday,
September 1, 2005, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White
Street (FM 455), to consider the following items:
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Kenneth Pelham and Council Members Lynn Mosier, Mads Montgomery,
J. W. Finley and John Garen were present Council Member Shiner absent.
3. Public Hearing (la hearing):
To consider public comment on the City of Anna proposed tax rate for fiscal
year 2005-2006.
Open Public Hearing at 8:00 p.m.
Public comments were heard from Jim Mann and Douglas Moreno against
raising the tax rate and bringing businesses into the City of Anna. Council
Member Mark Montgomery responded to a couple of issues brought up in the
public comments.
Closed the Public Hearing at 8:14 p.m.
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Geren made the motion to adjourn at 8:15 p.m. Seconded by
Council Member Finley.
