PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL JOINT
WORKSHOP MEETING
December 6, 2010 7:30 PM — Anna City Hall Administration Building
The Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council of the City of Anna will met in a Special Joint
Workshop Session at 7:30 p.m. December 6, 2010, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building,
located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5) regarding the following items:
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
The meeting was called to order at 7:33 p.m. by Mr. Halsell, Co-chairman of the
Planning and Zoning Commission. Members present of the Planning and Zoning
Commission were Tony Halsell, Michael Watkins, Justin Barr, John Mathews, Darrin
Colombo and Aaron Towner. City Council members present were Kevin Anderson, John
Geren, and Marc Hendricks. Staff members present were Maurice Schwanke, Tana Ross,
Philip Sander and Clark McCoy, City Attorney.
2. Workshop: The following items/issues will be discussed. No action will be taken on any
item.
Mr. Schwanke discussed Planning and Development procedures regarding annexation,
zoning, subdivision review, and site planning.
Clark McCoy, City Attorney, gave a brief presentation regarding Ethics requirements for
Boards and Commissions.
3. Adjourn
There being no further business, a motion was made by Mr. Mathews, seconded by Mr.
Burr to adjourn meeting. The meeting adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
