ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Monday, June 17, 2013
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on, Monday June 17, 2013 at 7:00
p.m. in the Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111
North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order at 7:03 pm and establishment of quorum. Park Board members present were
Jon Hendrix, Rachel Lyon, Scott Stroud and Kelly Hoggatt. Also present were Maurice
Schwanke, Sara Cox from the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce and the owners of
the Daddy Rex restaurant
2. Discussion/Action regarding Daddy Rex "Summer Music Nights"
Kelly made the motion to accept the proposal. Rachel seconded the motion to allow the
"Summer Music Nights" on Interurban Street between fourth Street and Fifth Street. The
motion carried.
3. Discussion/Action regarding The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce 4`h of July
Fireworks Show.
Scott made the motion to accept the proposal with the provision that the police are
contacted to discuss traffic control strategies. Kelly seconded the motion. The motion
carried.
4. Discussion/Action regarding The Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce "Glowfest".
Kelly made the motion to accept the application subject to review and approval of a
layout by the Staff. Scott seconded it. The motion carried.
5. Slayter Creek Update. A progress report on Slayter Creek Park Phase II was presented.
6. Park Board Minutes of April 15, 2013.
Scott made a motion to accept the minutes. Kelly seconded it. The motion carried.
7. Adjourn — Rachel made a motion to adjourn. Kelly seconded. Motion carried. Meeting
adjourned at 8:09 pm.
