BOARD OF ADJUSTMEMT
SPECIAL MEETING
July 21, 2007
The Board of Adjustment of the City of Anna held a special meeting on Saturday, July 21,
2007, at 10:00 a.m., at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration, located at
111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Darren Driskell, as the acting Chairman, called the meeting to order at 10:12 a.m.
Members present were Darren Driskell, Jeff Caponera and alternate members
Nancy Pennington and J. W. Finley.
2. Public Hearing
To consider public comment on variance request by Mary Valverde, representing
Valverde Enterprise, LLC, owner of properly, from provisions of Section 22.9.3.3 of
the City of Anna Zoning Ordinance to permit a private club on a tract less than two
acres in size. The property is located at the southwest comer of the intersection of
State Hwy 121 and FM 2862.
The public hearing opened at 10:12 a.m.
Mary Valverde, representative for Valverde Enterprises, LLC, gave brief
presentation regarding request.
After brief discussion, public hearing closed at 10:19 a.m.
3. Action
Consider request by Mary Valverde, representing Valverde Enterprise, LLC, from
provisions of Section 22.9.3.3 of the City of Anna Zoning Ordinance to permit a
private club on a tract less than two acres in size.
Motion was made by Mr. Finley to approve variance request. Mr. Caponera
seconded the motion, which passed by the following vote:
4 aye 0 nay 0 abstained
4. Consider action to approve Minutes of the March 4, 2006 meeting.
A motion was made by Ms. Pennington, seconded by Mr. Finley, to approve
Minutes of the March 4, 2006 as submitted, which passed by the following vote:
4 aye 0 nay 0 abstained

5. Adjourn
There being no further business, a motion was made by Ms. Pennington, seconded
by Mr. Finley, to adjourn meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
