CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE -CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
May 18, 2009 6:30 PM -Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 6:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, May 18, 2009, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at
111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), regarding the following items.
1. Can to Order
Mayor Pro Tern Kevin Anderson called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm
2. Roll Can and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Pro Tern Kevin Anderson and Council Members Mike Crist, Keith Green,
Darren Driskell and Becky Glover were present. Mayor Kenneth Pelham was
absent.
3. ConsiderlDiscussiAction regarding adopting a resolution canvassing the
returns of the City of Anna Election held May 9, 2009, to elect a Mayor and
three City Council Members all for three-year terms. (City Council)
Council Member Crist made the motion to approve the resolution to canvass the
votes of the May 9, 2009 City of Anna Election. Council Member Green
seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 5 NAY 0 ABSTAIN o
4. Administer the Statement of Elected Officer and the Oath of Office and
present Certificate of Election to newly elected officials. (Judge Indorf)
Municipal Court Judge David Indort administered the Statement of Elected
Officer to newly elected Council Members and Mayor. Judge Indort administered
the Oath of Office to newly elected Council Members Mike Crist, Keith Green and
Marc Hendricks. Judge Indort then administered the Oath of Office to newly
elected Mayor Darren R. Driskell.
5. Adjourn.
Mayor Pro Tern Anderson made the motion to adjourn at 6:45 pm. Council
Member Crist seconded the motion. Motion passes.
