CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE -CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
June 30, 2009 6:30 p.m. -Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 6:30 p.m., on
June 30, 2009, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North Powell
Parkway (Hwy 5), regarding the following items.
1. Can to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist, Marc Hendricks and
Becky Glover were present. Council Members Kevin Anderson and Keith
Green were absent.
3. Consider/DiscuaalAction regarding a Resolution supporting the
submission of a Policing Enhancements Project Grant Application.
Police Chief, Kenny Jenks summarized the items that the Policing
Enhancements Project would cover such as computer equipment, personnel,
vehicles, etc. and that the Grant would be for approximately $419,200. Chief
Jenks answered questions from council members. Council Member Crist made
the motion to approve. Council Member Glover seconded the motion. Motion
passes.

4. Adjourn.
Mayor Driskell made the motion to adjourn at 6:33 pm. Council Member Glover
seconded the motion. Motion passes.
