CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE -CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL
BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING
August 8, 2009 8:00 AM -Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Budget Workshop Session at
8:00 a.m., August 8,2009, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located
at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), regarding the following items.
1. Call to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 8:02 am.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Keith Green, Marc Hendricks
and Becky Glover were present. Council Member Mike Crist arrived at 8:12 am.
Council Member Kevin Anderson was absent.
3. Workshop: The following 1tem8llssues will be discussed. No action will
be taken on any item.
1. Discussion regarding 2009-2010 Budget.
City Manager, Philip Sanders led the discussion by going over items to be
considered for funding from savings during the current 2009 Fiscal Year and
items to be considered for funding in the proposed 2009-2010 Fiscal Year
budget. Staff and Council Members discussed tax rate options for funding the
budget; and having some sort of a PR campaign to get information to citizens.
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Glover made the motion to adjourn at 8:53 pm. Council Member
Hendricks seconded the motion. Motion passes.
