THE CITY OF ANNA CITY COUNCIL

ANNA CITY HALL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING,
111 N. POWELL PKWY., ANNA, TEXAS
The Anna Community Development Corporation, Anna Economic Development
Corporation and the City Council of the City of Anna conducted a special joint meeting at
6:30 pm. September 3. 2009, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, 111 N.
Powell Parkway, to consider the following items:
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 6:38 pm
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist, Marc Hendricks and Becky Glover
were present. Council Member Kevin Anderson was absent. Council Member Keith
Green arrived 6:40 pm. Duane Hayes was absent from EDC/CDC.
3. Invocation and Pledge.
Pastor Rob Simmons gave the invocation.
4. Citizen Comments. Citizens are allowed 3 minutes to speak. The Board of
Directors is unable to respond to or discuss any issues that are brought up
during this section that are not on the agenda, other than to make statements
of specific factual information in response to a citizen's inquiry or to recite
existing policy in response to the inquiry.
None
5. Discussion about the position of city council liaison.
Discussion regarding not having a council member on the two boards but to
have the Council Member as a liaison (non-voting) took place.
