SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL / ANNA ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND ANNA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION WORKSHOP
January 30, 2010 11 :00 A.M.
Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna and Anna Economic Development
Corporation and Anna Community Development Corporation met in a Special
Workshop Session at 11 :00 a.m., January 30, 2010, at the Anna City Hall
Administration Building located at 111 N. Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), Anna, TX
75409, to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 11:04 am.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Mike Crist, Kevin
Anderson, Keith Green, John Geren and Becky Glover were present.
Council Member Marc Hendricks was absent.
The Anna Economic Development Corporation and the Anna Community
Development Corporation called their meetings together. Directors Connie
Stump, Gene Bowles, Rob Simmons, Sandra Delgado and Sherilyn were
Godfrey were present. Directors Duane Hayes and Bill Olsen were absent.
3. Workshop: "rhe following items/issues will be discussed. No action
will be taken on any item:
a. Discussion regarding Council's goals and expectations for the
Anna EDC and CDC.
Discussion regarding grant programs and money being received from
applying for these grants; the development of EDC's property; the
business prospects considering locating to Anna; having a jOint
CDC/Parks/CC meeting to listen to a study that's been done on turning the
barn at Natural Springs Park into a community center; orientation for new
members.

4. Adjourn.
Council Member Green made the motion to adjourn at 12:00 pm. Council
Member Crist seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 6 NAY 0 ABSTAINED 0
EDC Director Gene Bowles made the motion to adjourn at 12:01 pm.
Director Rob Simmons seconded the motion. Motion passes.
CDC Director Sherilyn Godfrey made the motion to adjourn at 12:02 pm.
Director Connie Stump seconded the motion. Motion passes.
