SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL I ANNA PLANNING & ZONNING
COMMISSION WORKSHOP
February 15, 2011 7:15 P.M.
Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna and Anna Planning & Zoning Commission
met in a Special Workshop Session at 7:15 p.m., February 15,2011, at the Anna
City Hall Administration Building located at 111 N. Powell Parkway (Hwy 5),
Anna, TX 75409, to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order
Mayor Darren R. Driskell called the meeting to order at 7:22 pm.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Darren R. Driskell and Council Members Kevin Anderson, Keith
Green, John Geren and Becky Glover were present. Council Members
Mike Crist and Marc Hendricks were absent.
P & Z Commissioners present were Joe Osborn, Michael Watkins, Aaron
Towner, Tony Halsell and John Mathews. Commissioners Justin Burr and
Darrin Colombo were absent.
3. Workshop: The following itemsnssues will be discussed. No action
will be taken on any item:
a. Review and Discussion of Commission goals and objectives.
Maurice Schwanke Director of Planning and Development started the
discussion by reviewing items that have been before the commission.
Discussion regarding rewriting the subdivision ordinances; the process of
approving items and moving them forward to city council; receiving
packets earlier than on Fridays; and City Attorney Clark McCoy reviewed
the P & Z's role in reviewing items and making recommendations to city
council.
4. Adjourn.
Council Member Green made the motion to adjourn at 7:58 pm. Mayor
Driskell seconded the motion. Motion passes.
