ORDINANCE NO. 614-2013
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE ANNA, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE
APPROVAL AND ADOPTION OF A REVISION AS PROVIDED IN EXHIBIT "A" TO
THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 2030, TOGETHER WITH ALL EXHIBITS AND
APPENDICES THERETO, WHICH ARE ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED
HEREIN FOR ALL PURPOSES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna had determined that the existing
Comprehensive Plan Map was in need of updating; and
WHEREAS, such Plan has been drafted and reviewed by the staff, the Planning and
Zoning Commission, and the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the required public hearings have been held, in compliance with State law,
receiving public comments; and
WHEREAS, such Comprehensive Plan Map revision has been presented to the City
Council for review and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City
to approve and adopt the revision to the Comprehensive Plan 2030;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE ANNA, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the City of The Anna Comprehensive Plan Map, adopted November 20, 2006, as
amended, is hereby amended by adopting the Comprehensive Plan 2030, which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit "A", together with all
Exhibits and Appendices thereto, be, and the same is hereby, approved and adopted by
the City Council in accordance with Chapter 213 of the Texas Local Government Code.
Section 2. Savings, Severability and Repealing Clauses.
All ordinances of the City in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are repealed to
the extent of that conflict. If any provision of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional, the remainder of such ordinance shall continue in full force and effect
the same as if such invalid or unconstitutional provision had never been a part hereof.
The City declares that it would have passed this ordinance, and each section,
subsection, clause, or phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that anyone or more
sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, and phrases be declared unconstitutional or
invalid.

Section 3. Publication of the Caption Hereof and Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effective from and after its passage and upon
the posting and/or publication, if required by law, of its caption and the City Secretary is
hereby directed to implement such posting and/or publication.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, this 26th day of March,
