A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF A LIFEPAK 15 V4 AND LUCAS 3 CHEST COMPRESSION SYSTEM TO STRYKER CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($95,000) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna Texas has determined that the Lifepak 15 v4 and the Lucas 3 Chest Compression System are essential equipment for the City of Anna Fire Department; and, WHEREAS, Stryker Corporation has a sole source letter for the equipment needed to be purchased; and, WHEREAS, The Lifepak 15 V4 and Lucas chest compression system will be housed at City of Anna Fire Station Number 2; and, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. Recitals Incorporated The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes. Section 2. Authorization of Payment and Funding. The City Council of the City of Anna hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute purchase orders in an amount not to exceed $95,000.00 to Stryker Corporation Company for the safety equipment needed at Anna Fire Station number 2. That funding for the project shall come from the Infrastructure Investment Funds and shall not exceed $95,000.00 PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 90+ day of March 2024.
