CITY OF ANNA
SPECIAL WORKSHOP CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 30, 2015 4:00 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Workshop Session on, Friday,
January 30, 2015, at 4:00 p.m. in the Throckmorton Room at 3220 Craig Drive, Holiday
Inn and Suites McKinney, Texas to consider the following items.
Mayor Mike Crist called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm.
The following item is added to the regular agenda for consideration.
Council Member Bryan made the motion to enter closed session at 4:01 pm. Council
Member Dowd seconded the motion. Motion passes.
AYE 6 NAY 0 ABSTAIN 0
4. CLOSED SESSION (EXCEPTIONS): Under Tex. Gov't Code Chapter 551,
the City Council may enter into closed session to discuss any items listed or
referenced on this agenda under the following exceptions:
a. discuss or deliberate Economic Development Negotiations: (1)
To discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial
information that the City has received from a business prospect that
the City seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory
of the City of Anna and with which the City is conducting economic
development negotiations; or (2) To deliberate the offer of a financial
or other incentive to a business prospect described by subdivision (1).
(Tex. Gov't Code 051.087); proposed residential developments;
Council Member Bryan made the motion to return to open session at 4:58 pm.
Council Member Lovato seconded the motion.
AYE 6 NAY 0 ABSTAIN 0
5. Adjourn.
Council Member Bryan made the motion to adjourn at 4:58 pm. Council Member
Barnes seconded the motion. Motion passes.
