J61 -Z -b'% --3 �C A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE 2017 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT WHEREAS, the FY 2017 budget includes funds for the rehabilitation of existing asphalt streets; and WHEREAS, there is $136,000 remaining in the Streets department Capital Improvements budget; and WHEREAS, the City's purchasing policies state that no bid process on purchases more than $50,000 shall begin until approved by the City Council and the City Manager, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. Recitals Incorporated. The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes. Section 2. Approval of Bidding Process. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to solicit bids for the 2017 Street Rehabilitation Project which includes the following reconstruction projects: a) Third Street between SH 5 and Interurban - 290 linear feet b) Butler from SH 5 continuing 250' west - 250 linear feet c) Easton between Fifth and Sixth - 290 linear feet d) Third Street between Interurban and Riggins - 320 linear feet PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 25th day of July 2017.
