SPECIAL MEETING
September 5, 2017
The City Council of the City of Anna met in a Special Meeting on the above date at Anna
City Hall, located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Crist called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Council Member's Martinez and Beazley were absent.
2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Crist led the invocation and pledge.
3. Conduct a Public Hearing on the proposed FY2017-2018 Budget. (Dana
Thornhill)
Mayor Crist opened the public hearing at 6:32 p.m.
None
Mayor Crist closed the public hearing at 6:32 p.m.
William Morgan, 2029 Helmoken Falls Dr. spoke in favor of additional
personnel.
4. Conduct a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2017 Tax Rate (Dana Thornhill)
Mayor Crist opened the public hearing at 6:33 p.m.

Mayor Crist closed the public hearing at 6:34 p.m.
William Morgan, 2029 Helmoken Falls Dr. - requested the tax rate be
lowered.
