SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE TO AGENDA
CITY OF ANNA
REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
April 27, 2004 7:30 PM
Community Room, Texas Star Bank
The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Regular Session at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday,
April 27, 2004, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White
Street (FM 455).
The following item is hereby added to the agenda of the meeting referenced above:
Consider approval of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 2001-09 by replacing
the Exhibit A in Ordinance No. 2001-09, which references a 19.784 acre tract, with
a corrected Exhibit A describing the entire 66.741 acre tract, that reflects the
10, actual action intended by the City Council when passing the original Ordinance
No. 2001-09.
Consideration of this item as a "reasonably unforeseeable situation' as described in
Government Code, Sec. 551.045, justifies action as an emergency item on this agenda.
The inadvertent inclusion of the incorrect Exhibit A as part of Ordinance No. 2001-09
has been discovered after the filing of Creekside Estates, Phase 2, as part of the
incorporated area of the city, thereby clouding the legal status of the property that has
been sold to various private parties and on which several residential dwellings have
been constructed. Furthermore, the legal status of Creekside Estates, Phase 3, is
similarly clouded, making it impossible to file a plat that has been approved by the City
and on which infrastructure improvements have been made.
This is to certify that I, Lee Lawrence, City Administrator, posted this agenda on the
glass front door of the City Hall, facing outside, an )I the Hall bulletin board at or
before 7:00 p.m., April 26, 2004.
