A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
GovHR USA TO RECRUIT A CHIEF OF POLICE WITH AN OPTION TO RECRUIT A
CITY MANAGER.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Anna finds it in the best interest of the citizens
of the City of Anna that the recruitment for a Chief of Police and a City Manager be
performed by a professional executive recruitment firm experienced in executive
recruitments; and
WHEREAS, The City of Anna solicited proposals from executive recruitment firms,
receiving four responses from qualified firms; and
WHEREAS, City Staff reviewed the four proposals in accordance with the criteria
established in the request for proposals; and
WHEREAS, City Staff found GovHR USA to be the best value to the City of Anna for
the Chief and Police for the current recruitments; and
WHEREAS, The agreement between the City of Anna and GovHR USA provides for the
option to perform a City Manager recruitment within six months, upon approval of both
parties:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anna
authorizes the City Manager to enter into a professional services agreement with GovHR
USA to recruit a Chief of Police and with an option to recruit a City Manager upon City
Council's further approval.

the City within the first 12 months of appointment, we will, if desired, conduct one additional recruitment for
the cost of expenses and announcements only, if requested to do so within six months of the employee's
departure.
In addition, in accordance with the policy of our firm as well as established ethics in the executive search
