ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
August 17, 2015
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 7:00
p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North
Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m. and establishment of quorum. Members present were
Jon Hendricks, Stan Carver and Rene Martinez. Staff present was Maurice Schwanke.
2. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding the approval of a resolution approving a special event
application submitted by Sarah Cox, representative for the Greater Anna Chamber of
Commerce regardin& the request for the "Anna Glow Fest" to be held at the Slayter Creek
Park on October 24 , 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The event set up will start on Oct
23rd, 2015.
Mr. Schwanke gave a brief presentation. Sarah Cox, representative for the Greater Anna
Chamber of Commerce was present and gave a brief presentation regarding the event.
Following discussion, a motion was made by Stan Carver, seconded by Rene Martinez to
approve the event request. The motion carried.
3. Adjourn
Stan Carver made a motion to adjourn meeting, seconded by Rene Martinez. Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
