SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
February 12, 2005 5:30 PM

The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Special Session at 5:30 a.m., Saturday,
February 12, 2005, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White Street
(FM 455), to consider the following items.
Call to Order.
Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
3. Consider citizen comments and presentations.
4. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas Government Code, the
City Council may enter into CLOSED SESSION or Executive Session to discuss the
following:
a. To consult with legal counsel on matters in which the duty of the attorney to the
governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of
i-. the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Government Code.
(Government Code, Chapter 551.071).
5. Consider action on an Ordinance regulating the sale of alcohol by any establishment
that derives 75 percent or more of the establishments gross revenue from the on -
premise sale of alcoholic beverages and prescribing the hours when it may be sold.
6. Consider action on an Ordinance prohibiting the sale of beer in all residential areas of
the City.
7. Consider action on an Ordinance regulating the sale of beer for on -premises
consumption.
8. Consider action on an Ordinance regulating the sale of beer that is not for on -premises
consumption.
9. Consider action on an Ordinance prescribing the hours when beer may be sold.
10. Consider action on an Ordinance prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages by a dealer
whose place of business is within 300 feet of a church, public school, private school,
public hospital, day-care center or child-care facility.
1. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.
2. The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda, whenever it is
considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meeting Act.
3. Persons with disabilities who want to attend this meeting and who may need assistance should contact Barbara A. Hobden at
