ANNA PARK BOARD
MEETING
April 16, 2018
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular scheduled meeting on Monday, April
16,2018, at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building,
located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
The meeting was called to order at 7:04 p.m. Members present were Ginny Finan, Judith
Waldrop, Danna Ward, and Kirby Barrett. Staff present was Maurice Schwanke and Matt
Lewis.
1. Consider/Discuss/Action on recommendation regarding Park Development Fees.
A motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Ginny Finan to recommend to the
City Council that the Park fees be increase to $30,000 for every 50 units for land in lieu
of dedication and a $1,500 charge at the time of Single -Family permit issuance and
$2,000 for multi -family for each unit at time of permit issuance. Motion Carried
2. Consider/Discuss/Action on recommendation regarding Pocket Parks.
The recommendation motion was as follow: "Every lot should be % mile from a pocket
park or within 5 minutes walking time whichever is more". A motion was made by Ginny
Finan, seconded by Brian Kirby. Motion Carried
3. Discussion:
a. Other Parks as necessary
Discussion on Anna Parks, no action taken
4. Park Minutes.

A motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Danna Ward to approve Minutes of
the March 19, 2018 meeting. Motion Carried
5. Adjourn.
A motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Kirby Barrett to adjourn meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.
