ANNA PARK BOARD MEETING
July 16, 2018
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular scheduled meeting on Monday, July
16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building,
located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Andrew
Michrina, Judith Waldrop, Kirby Barrett and Ginny Finan. Staff present was Maurice
Schwanke and Matt Lewis. Other attendees were City Councilman Kevin Toten and
Stan Carver.
2. Nominate and vote on a new Park Board Chairman
Ginny Finan was nominated for Park Board Chairman by Judith Waldrop. Kirby
Barrett seconded the motion. There were no other nominees. Motion Carried
3. Field Trip — Travel around the City to view and discuss several existing Parks
To be viewed in the following order (Times are Approximate)
a. Slayter Creek Park
7:05 — 7:20
b. Johnson Park
7:20 — 7:30
c. Sherley Park
7:30 — 7:45
d. Geer Park
7:45 — 8:00
e. Natural Springs Park
8:00 — 8:15
f. Lakeview Park
8:15 — 8:30
g. Creekside Park
8:30 — 8:40
h. Pecan Grove Park
8:40 — 9:00
Maurice Schwanke and Matt Lewis took the Board Members on a tour of Anna Parks.
No Action taken.
4. Discussion of Lakeview Estates Phase II park— No action taken
5. Park Minutes
• June 18, 2018
A motion was made by Ginny Finan, seconded by Judith Waldrop to approve Minutes
of the June 18, 2018 meeting. Motion Carried

6. Adjourn
A motion was made by Ginny Finan, seconded by Judith Waldrop to adjourn meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
