A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023 FINANCIAL AUDIT OF THE
CITY OF ANNA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anna, Texas ("the City") is committed to principles and
practices of open and fair government that honors the public trust; and
WHEREAS, Article 7 Section 7.18 of the City's Home -Rule Charter ("the Charter")
requires an annual independent audit of all accounts of the City by a certified public
accountant.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The above -referenced recitals are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all
purposes.
Section 2. Audit Accepted
The City Council has hereby accepted the FY 2023 audit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this the 25'h day of June,
2024.
