Whereas, homeownership is a cornerstone of the American Dream, symbolizing stability,
financial security, and a sense of belonging within our communities; and
Whereas, homeownership strengthens families, neighborhoods, and contributes significantly to
the overall economic health of our city; and
Whereas, purchasing a home has become difficult for many Texans over the last several years due
to forces outside their control; and
Whereas, Pathway Homes is committed to being a partner on this journey, dedicated to making
homeownership accessible and achievable for residents of Anna; and
Whereas, Pathway Homes collaborates with coaches, credit improvement businesses, and
homeownership resources to increase the prospects of ensuring housing obtainability in Anna; and
Whereas, the city of Anna continues to support the creation of new homeowners by pursuing the
development of new homes;
Now, Therefore, I, Pete Cain, Mayor of the City of Anna, Texas, do hereby proclaim the month of
June as Homeownership Month in our city, done and proclaimed this 26th day of June 2024, Anna,
Texas.

We encourage all residents to join us in recognizing the value of homeownership and to support
efforts that make it possible for more families to enjoy the benefits and pride that come with
