Proclamation
ANNA COYOTE FOOTBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, the 60 members of the Anna Coyote Football Team have dedicated hundreds of hours of work,
starting even before the first day of school, preparing, practicing, and competing, for the 2022-
2023 school year, and
WHEREAS, football players focus on teamwork, discipline, leadership, and decision making, and
WHEREAS, in the 2022 football season, Coyotes went 13-1 and lost in the State Quarterfinals to China
Spring. This year was their 1st time in 50 years to beat Celina and 1st time to beat them twice
in a season, and
WHEREAS, the Head Football Coach for this year is Seth Parr, and
WHEREAS, the Anna Coyote Football Team enjoyed unparalleled support from parents and the community
in preparing and executing for the best season in school history.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Nate Pike, Mayor of the City of Anna, Texas, by the authority vested in me,
do hereby commend the
2022 ANNA COYOTE
FOOTBALL TEAM
on their outstanding performance and on earning a place in the state quarterfinals. I also
encourage all Anna citizens to support the Football Team and to recognize these
hardworking students and coaches as they represent our community.
