A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH AVI-SPL AUDIO AND VISUAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE
UPGRADE TO THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX COUNCIL CHAMBERS AUDIO VISUAL
EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND
ZERO CENTS ($70,000).
WHEREAS, the City of Anna Municipal Complex Council Chambers audio and visual equipment
has met end of life, and;
WHEREAS, AVI-SPL provides the audio-visual systems that meet many of the City's technology
requirements at a reasonable cost through the DIR cooperative purchasing agreements of which
the City is a member, and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of Agreement.
The City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, authorizes the City Manager to award the contract
for audio and visual equipment in an amount not to exceed $70,000 on behalf of the City of Anna,
Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna. Texas on this 251h day of
February 2025.
