RESOLUTION NO. 2020=11=115
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO REIMBURSE THE NORTH COLLIN SPECIAL UTILITY
DISTRICT FOR THE RELOCATION OF AN EXISTING WATER MAIN IN CONFLICT
WITH THE PROPOSED WIDENING OF FOSTER CROSSING ROAD, IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY DOLLARS
AND ZERO CENTS ($57,960.00) AS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Foster Crossing Roadway Improvement Project is shown on the City of Anna
Master Thoroughfare Plan as a critical Capital Improvement Project, and;
WHEREAS, the existing North Collin County Special Utility District water main is located within
an existing easement along Foster Crossing Road which will be encompassed by the widening
of Foster Crossing Road, and;
WHEREAS, the water main must be relocated in order for the road widening to be constructed,
and;
WHEREAS, North Collin Special Utility District has provided a detailed cost estimate for the
project and staff has reviewed the estimate for completeness and accuracy, and;
WHEREAS, the reimbursement shall be funded through Roadway Impact Fees received from
the adjacent development project of Pecan Grove Phase 24, and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Authorization.
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the task order agreement as
shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
