ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Monday, November 21, 2011
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday, November 21, 2011, at
7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111
North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order at 7:06 pm and establishment of quorum. Park Board members present were
Erin Cogar, Lauren Lovato and Rachel Lyon. Maurice Schwanke was also present. Jon
Hendricks and Kelly Bailey were absent.
2. Review of proposed AYSA Agreement
Rachel made a motion that the association pay the city a fee of $1000 up front or in four
installments of $350 ($1400) during the year to sell concessions.
Lauren seconded it. The motion carried.
Rachel made a motion to recommend the agreement with changes.
Lauren seconded the motion. The motion carried.
3. Review of misc. park activities
Maurice showed a shirt logo that Eric Alvarez was working on.
We discussed the Splash pad proposal. It is estimated to cost $265,339.00. The budget is
$120,000. Houlk Designs is working on a disc golf proposal. Estimated cost is $55,000.
4. Park Board Minutes of October 17th. Erin made a motion to accept the minutes. Lauren
seconded it. The motion carried.
5. Adjourn — Lauren made a motion to adjourn. Erin seconded. Motion carried. Meeting
adjourned at 8:45 pm.
