ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
March 21, 2016
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday, March 21, 2016,
at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building, located
at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Meeting called to order at 7:07 p.m. and establishment of quorum. Members
present were Jon Hendricks, Erin Cogar, Stan Carver and Rene Martinez. Ginny
Finan was absent. Staff present was Maurice Schwanke and Matt Lewis. Guest
present was Councilman Justin Burr.
2. Review Natural Springs Park Activities
Mr. Schwanke gave a presentation over items a-d. No action was taken on these
items.
a. Building improvements
b. Potential Driveway
c. Pond Dredging
d. Pond Fountain
3. Splash Pad work
Mr. Schwanke gave an overview of the splash pad work to be performed at Slayter
Creek Park. No action was taken on this item.
4. Park Updates
Mr. Schwanke gave a brief presentation regarding the update of the parks. No
action taken on this item.
5. Approve Park Board Minutes
• January 19, 2016
A motion was made by Rene Martinez, seconded by Stan Carver to approve
Minutes of the January 19, 2016 meeting.
6. Adjourn
There being no other business, a motion was made by Rene Martinez, seconded by
Stan Carver to adjourn meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
