ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
September 19, 2016
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a meeting on Monday, September 19, 2016, at
7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at
111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Meeting called to order at 7:21 p.m. and establishment of quorum. Members
present were Jon Hendricks, Stan Carver, Ginny Finan and Judith Waldrop. Staff
present was Maurice Schwanke, Matt Lewis and Kevin Hall, representative for the
Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce was present.
2. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding the approval of a resolution approving a special
event application submitted by Kevin Hall, representative for the Greater Anna
Chamber of Commerce regarding the request for the "Anna Glow Fest" to be held at
the Slayter Creek Park on October 29t", 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The
event set up will start on Oct 28t", 2016 ending October 30t" for cleanup. The
alternate date will be November 5t" with corresponding set up and cleanup.
Kevin Hall, representative for the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce was present
to answer question regarding the Anna Glow Fest.. After a brief discussion, a
motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Stan Carver to approve the
special even for the Anna Glow Fest. The motion carried.
3. Approve Park Board Minutes
• August 15, 2016
A motion was made by Judith Waldrop, seconded by Stan Carver to approve the
Minutes of the August 15, 2016 meeting. The motion carried.
4. Adjourn
A motion was made by Stan Carver, seconded by Ginny Finan to adjourn meeting.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:48 p.m.
