Home My WebLink AboutPBmin2017-05-15MINUTES ANNA PARK BOARD REGULAR MEETING May 15, 2017 The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday, May15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items. 1. Call to order and establishment of quorum. Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present were Jon Hendricks, Judith Waldrop, Ginny Finan, Kirby Barret and Stan Carver. Staff present was Maurice Schwanke and Matt Lewis. Councilman Justin Burr and Councilman Lee Miller were also present for meeting and Kevin Hall, representative for the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce. 2. Consider/Discuss/Act on recommendation concerning a special even application submitted by Kevin Hall, representative for the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce regarding the request for the "July 4th Fire Work Show" located at the Anna High School football stadium on July 4, 2017. Mr. Schwanke gave a presentation regarding the July 4th event. Kevin Hall, representative for the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce was present to answer questions regarding the event. A motion was made by Ginny Finan, seconded by Judith Waldrop to recommend approval of the July 4th event. Motion Carried 3. Discussion: Comprehensive Plan Standards for park facilities and open space in Anna. Mr. Schwanke and Members of the Board discussed the above agenda item. No action taken. 4. Discussion of other City Parks Mr. Schwanke and Members of the Board discussed the above agenda item. No action taken. 5. Park Board Minutes • April 24, 2017 A motion was made by Ginny Finan, seconded by Judith Waldrop to approve Minutes of the April 24, 2017 meeting. Motion carried 6.
