ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
November 16,2009
The Park Board of the City of Anna held its regular meeting on Monday,November 16,2009,at
7:00 p.m.at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building,located at 111
North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5),to consider the following items.
1.Call to order and establishment of quorum.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.and a quorum established.Members
present were Erin Coger,Kelly Bailey,Jon Hendricks,Michael Watkins and Becky
Glover as the City Liaison.Staff member present was Maurice Schwanke.
2.Citizen comments and/or other presentations.
•Park Updates -Maurice Schwanke updated the Park Board on current status of
park events including the award of a grant for $282,500 by Collin County
3.Discussions:
•Farmer's Market at Slayter Creek pavilion -No Discussion
•Community Garden-A discussion was lead by Ms.Cogar.
•Adult Baseball Leagues -A discussion was lead by Ms.Cogar.
•Brick fundraisers -A YSAIBoyscouts -No Discussion
4.Future Grant Application
•Splash Pad
•Frisbee Golf
•Other
5.Park Board Minutes
•October 19,2009
A motion was made by Ms.Cogar and second by Jon Hendricks to approve the October
19,2009 Park Board Minutes with corrections.
6.Adjourn.
There being no further business,a motion was made by Mr.Hendricks,seconded by Ms.
