AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORIES TO THE
C17Y OF ANNA, TEXAS: PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF:
WHEREAS, the growth and aevelopment of the area adjacent to the City
of Anna is progressing at a rap -,a ,ate ;xnd this dude=opment. }s expected
to cont nue in the future; and
WHEREAS, the protection of the pubiic health and genera; welfare of
the people of the City of Anna requsrez that Such development be in an or-
derly manner and controlled by the City aT Anna; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was head before the City Council of the
City ;;f Anna, Texas, on theday of � � , 19

which date was not more than, twenty (20) d;;ys nor''e_--s than ten (10) days
prior to :he -institution of annexation pr3ceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of Such pub`•}chearing was advertized at Post Office
and City Hal) by public posters in the City of Anna, Texas / day
of wh1ch date wws not more than twenty (20) days nor
less than ten (±0) days prior- to the day of such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the tern tory Iies. adjacent to and bdjo ns the City of Anna,
Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 17 ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The following described land and territories lying adjacent
to and adjo�,ning the City of Anna, Texas is hereby added and annexed to the
City of Anna, Texas, to --wit:

SECTION 2, The above described land and territory lying adjacent to
and adjoining the City of Anna, Texas, and said territory above described
shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of
Anna, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city, at the various
points contiguous to the areas above described, are altered and amended
so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Anna, Texas.
SECTION 3e That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption after one (1) reading and upon -being approved by the
Mayor, as the law in such cases provides.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas,
